Analyzing the Political Themes of TV Shows

So I was watching The Boondocks with my partner, and she commented on how Huey was a socialist. But there are some things he's said that seemed pretty liberal. She also claims the show Arrow has very anarchist stances. 

I've always liked analyzing pop culture in such a way.
